Thank you for taking the time to check in on the PTA Website. We have added a new page to our site that highlights local companies and small businesses that have donated goods and services to the PTA. Without their support we would be unable to successfully hold many of our events and activities. Please take the time to visit our friends of PES and advertisment page.

2012 brings with it some new PTA events and activities. We are hopeful that you will come and check them out, and are confident that you will not be disappointed when you do.

The yearbook committee is asking for pictures you have taken during PTA or school events to be used in the 2011-2012 yearbook. This year sharing your photos with them is easier than ever, thanks to a new company that provides a site where you can upload your photos to.  Yearbook committee members will then choose photos from the provided pictures.                    Uploaded photos will only be accessible to a committee members. To upload pictures please go to

http://edo.entourageyearbooks.com/YearbookLogin.asp?YBID=7E01081F

 Friends of Plattekill Public Library

Wondering what to do with all those nice baby items and kids clothes, toys, books and movies you stored away in the basement or the attic or stashed under the guest room bed? Need to weed through your assortment of DVDs to make room for the latest Oscar winners? Want to clean out the house of all those unused, but nice children's clothes that you just don’t have the room for?

Well, that's what Friends are for. While the Friends of Plattekill Public Library won't offer to come to your home or clean out your car, they will happily accept all gently used household items and children’s’ clothes, toys, books, DVDs, that are in good condition as they prepare for their Giant “New to You” – Kids and Community Sale being held on

Saturday April 19th.

Drop donated items off at Classic Storage, Library Business Buddy, during office hours, April 1 – 17, Route 44/55 in Modena. That gives you more than two weeks to clear out your house for spring cleaning, AND support your library. All proceeds for the sale go to the Friends of the

Plattekill Public Library. Please DO NOT drop off textbooks, VHS tapes, encyclopedias or magazines. Think Green and bring those to the Plattekill Transfer Station and Recycling Center.
